“My design intentions are sparse, without symbolism, representation or iconography. My current sculptural structures are manifestations of cast concrete, oxidized iron, glass and stone. I have identified the sensibility as zenbrutalism. Zen being simple austerity, an attitude encouraging self-less tranquility. Brutalism being a movement in architecture that asserted the primacy of elements- space, structure and materials exposed in their untrammelled form.”
